with a passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen. Starting in September 2024 and lasting 15 months, as our

Apprentice Chef

you will receive a training programme which will aim to broaden your horizon and help you to sustainably practice your culinary skills.

? The 15-month Apprentice Chef Programme will be based in our hotels and includes:

Salary: £11.72 plus Service Charge

As an Apprentice Chef at PPHE Hotel Group, you will:

Possess full-time Right to Work status in the UK (essential).

Have a strong interest in food – preparing and cooking ingredients.

Attend college 1 day per week

to complete your Level 2 Commis Chef course.

Have GCSE English and Maths grades A-D / 3-9 (or equivalent).

Complete tasks relevant to but not limited to the kitchen function in an efficient way, preparing and cooking food orders in accordance with the hotel menu, delivering on time, and liaising with relevant teams to ensure guest satisfaction.

Proactively assists in preparing, serving and storing all products to ensure the best quality, in a cost-effective and efficient manner, considering food costs within specified budgets, and minimising wastage.

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when personalising external and internal guests’ needs and the changing demand and priorities of the business.

Create a welcoming atmosphere and personalised service for each individual external and internal guest having an eye for detail and responding appropriately to guest and leadership feedback.

Have previous paid or work experience in a professional kitchen (desirable) or demonstrate a clear passion for the culinary arts.
