More about your role  

We are excited to recruit a Technical Graduate as part of our 2024 Graduate Programme, internally known as our Emerging Talent programme.

As a Technical Graduate you’ll develop an understanding of the full lifecycle of a project from inception to completions. This includes to working with Architectural, Engineering, and services designs, third party approvals and section agreements. 

Your two year on programme will see you develop  strong technical skills, understanding  the process of authorities for approvals, reviewing external technical reports, as well as designs for working drawings & engineering layouts. Working with our Assist Technical Managers coordinating all design  challenges.

You’ll develop a foundational knowledge of the developments technical sector including the role of Architects, Engineers, structural, civil and highways Engineers, and more.

This is a great role for someone looking to pursue a career in Developments. This role is office based from our Eastleigh office, you’ll from learning from the technical expertise around you both within your business area and the surrounding business.

The start date for this role is September 2024 which will include a week long induction from our Leeds Office which will include introductions to the Executive Team, a tour of Places for People housing stock & social opportunities for you to meet the rest of the 2024 Emerging Talent cohort.

You’ll be a recent graduate with a degree in a relevant subject. Developments and Construction is a melting pot of academic backgrounds with a shared love of the industry. You’ll want to start a career in development and be excited about doing this at Places for People.
