The Company:

My client is a niche Acoustic Consultancy based near Luton. They cover environmental and building Acoustics, including noise modelling, acoustic reports, and technical reports for British Standards compliance. They are looking for a Junior Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team near Luton. Established for 20 years, the company have a wide range of clients across England.

Role responsibilities include:

Undertaking various noise impact assessments.

Collating the data to write factual reports for clients.

Completing sound and noise surveys.

Junior Acoustic Consultants may provide Graduate Consultants with guidance.

The ideal candidate will have:

One year experience as an Acoustic Consultant, is required.

A membership of the Institute of Acoustics.

Knowledge of British Standards, BS8233 and BS4142.

Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).

A relevant degree in Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree with relevant modules will also be considered.
