The Company:

My client is a rapidly expanding specialist Environmental Consultancy, delivering a range of services including Air Quality Assessments, Greenhouse Gas Emissions Assessments, and Mineral Assessments. They are seeking a Graduate Air Quality Consultant to join their thriving team in Manchester, based in the office and on-site. If successful you will have the opportunity to join an experienced team of Air Quality experts across a range of sectors including Industrial, Commercial and Energy projects.

The role:

As a Graduate Air Quality Consultant, you will be involved in projects from start to finish, ensuring the best environmental outcomes are upheld. Role responsibilities:

  • Using air dispersion modelling to monitor ambient air pollutants.
  • Managing indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring campaigns.
  • Undertaking air impact assessments for infrastructure and industrial placements.
  • Preparation of factual and interpretative reports, including data analysis.
  • Liaising with clients and designers.

The ideal candidate:

  • Degree in a relevant subject including Environmental Science, Air Pollution and Control, Atmospheric Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-orientated, and enthusiastic.
  • Proficient in handling large datasets in Excel.
  • Commercial experience in numerical modelling of dispersion or monitoring of ambient air pollutants, is preferred.
  • Full UK clean driver’s license.
