The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Reviewing and assessing material gathered during investigations,reviews or policy projects using different methods to review and captureinformation in accordance with the requirements of the relevant legislation andpolicy.
  • Assisting in the creation of schedules of material in preparation forconsultations, decisions and litigation.
  • Assisting the team in ensuring that case files and records areaccurately and efficiently maintained, including document scheduling, archivingand retrieval in line with policy and procedures.
  • Drafting documents, including correspondence, memos and minutes.
  • Preparing materials for external counsel.
  • Supporting litigation readiness.
  • Supporting legislative review.
  • Supporting knowhow and information management.
  • Supporting with legal research
  • Timely and accurate complex document preparation
  • Maintaining and promoting effective working relationships withcolleagues in other business areas and with external bodies.
