As a Chartered Management Degree Apprentice, youll join Parker Meggitts Ansty Lean Team. Youll help empower the business to think Lean meaning doing things smarter, faster, and better whilst effectively rolling out the Parker Lean System. Youll play a crucial role in embedding Lean concepts and tools into the business Operations.

About the role:

Parker Meggitt has a culture of Kaizen which means Good Change in Japanese. Youll support Ansty Park in making things better every day over at the Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO) with the support of the High Performing Team (HPT) aka the Ansty Lean Team.

Throughout the degree apprenticeship, youll support the Kaizen Team Leaders to run Kaizen events, Run-The-Business (RTB) meetings and manage Team Improvement Boards (TIBs) all whilst considering Health & Safety actions. In addition, youll have the opportunity to study Lean Boot Camps I, II & III during your time with the Ansty Lean Team to become a Parker Meggitt Lean professional.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the business in Health & Safety; identifying and closing-out issues in a timely manner
  • Supporting the roll-out and sustainment of daily management boards across the business Supporting the roll-out and business understanding of Problem Solving and 5S+Safety
  • Supporting, facilitating and ultimately leading operational and strategic improvement projects
  • Supporting operational planning objectives including AIP (Annual Improvement Priorities) roll-out
  • Working with a mentor to continue your personal and professional development
  • Acting as an ambassador for apprenticeships
