Position overview

The Strategy and Data Analytics Intern will play a critical role in supporting the strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing various business functions through data-driven insights. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, applying analytical skills to drive business improvements and sustainability efforts. The role is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for strategy, data analytics, and sustainability. The candidate will report directly into the Chief Strategy Officer.

Responsibilities

Strategic analysis

  • Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance business operations.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning.

Data analytics

Process optimization

  • Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes based on data analysis.
  • Support the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to support data-driven initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.

Performance measurement

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the success of strategic initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and outcomes to senior management.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel)
  • Basic understanding of strategic planning and business operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for sustainability and commitment to PANGAIA’s mission and values.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
