OBM are currently recruiting for a Trainee CCU Yard Operative for a permenant staff role on behalf of our oil and gas service provider client based in Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will report to the CCU Team Lead, and will be resonsible for the checking and inspection of Cargo Carrying Units as to be made ‘Ready for Use’ in support of shipping.

Role and Responsibities:

Facilitate the allocation of empty Cargo Carrying Units (CCU’s) in accordance with Client requirements via CMS.

Work closely with CCU Fleet controller to ensure client shipping requirements are fully met on time.

Log and raise Non-Conformance Reports in relation to CCU quality.

Carry out on base stock checks.

Complete Consignment Notes and Cargo Summary Tickets for transportation of CCUs offsite from Quayside

Inspection CCU’s and, where certified, forklift duties when required.

Assist with additional yard duties as specified by line management when required.

Continuously promote a pro-active HSEQ culture, ensuring participation and compliance.

Present a positive image of the company through first class service delivery and customer engagement.

Supervise the loading and unloading of trucks in the CCU area.

Build effective relationships across the business by continually seeking to improve operations.

Maintain housekeeping standards within the operating areas.

Ad-hoc duties as required in line with applicable

training/competency

assessments undertaken.

Minimum Competencies:

Effective planning and organising skills with a conscientious approach to completing tasks and an excellent attention to detail.

Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.

Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite, particularly in Outlook and Excel

Continuously promotes a pro-active HSSEQ culture.

Customer focused and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, both internal and external

Ability to work stand-alone, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while a positive contributor to the wider team
