What does the role involve?

As a Data & Analytics Graduate you will join our supportive team in Group IT. During the two-year programme, you’ll be introduced to the world of Data Analytics, spending time in several key business areas, including Platforms, Data Science and Delivery, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop yourself as a professional, and potential leader.

In this role, you will be working closely with key stakeholders across IT and forging strong relationships with the wider Data Communities. You will develop and maintain solutions spanning the full analytics stack from data ingestion, quality and transformation through to analytics and reporting. With this in mind, you will play a pivotal part in helping enable the business to achieve the maximum benefit from their data assets.

Our office is based in Leeds but we’re passionate about hybrid working, attendance at the Leeds office is a minimum of 2 days per week.

Some of your key duties will include

• Understand data engineering techniques, including data loading, cleansing and transformation concepts, tools and/or methodology to feed compelling visualisations in Power BI
• Utilise data modelling, design concepts and/or analysis techniques to solve problems in a logical manner
• Create engaging content to help internal customers use the data and analytics platform
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to create artificial intelligence solutions

You’ll have recently graduated and achieved a 2:2 or above in your chosen degree.
