What does the role involve?

As Graduate – Architect, you will join our Group IT Enterprise Architecture team. During the two-year programme, you’ll spend time in several key business areas, gaining a holistic view on all things IT, so you’ll certainly have plenty of opportunities to develop yourself as a professional, and potential future leader.

In this role you will play a critical role in shaping the overall IT strategy and ensuring that technology investments align with the overall business objectives. You will be involved in a whole variety of projects working closely with a team of seasoned professionals across the business. From point of design through to strategic thinking, you will play a supportive role in considering implications, cost savings, governance and more!

Our office is based in Leeds but we’re passionate about hybrid working, attendance at the Leeds office is a minimum of 2 days per week.

Some of your key duties will include

• Working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop a strategic plan for how technology can best support
• Assist other architects in designing and documenting IT solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements
• Participate in project meetings and technical discussions, actively contributing ideas, insights, solutions and decision-making
• Conduct research and analysis to ensure that the infrastructure meets performance, security, and governance requirements

You’ll have recently graduated and achieved a 2:2 or above in your chosen degree.
