£32,732 – £39,096 per annum pro rata
City College is seeking a qualified and experienced Youth Worker to lead on the development and implementation of a new Youth Worker Degree Apprenticeship programme.
It is essential that you hold a JNC endorsed
Degree in Youth Work and have extensive experience of practice. You academic and vocational skills and knowledge will enable you to liaise with a broad range of employers and expert practitioners to design a full degree programme which meets the requirements of the UEA as our validating partner and the Education Training Standards as part of the National Youth Agency approval.
Working with experienced HE colleagues you will ensure that the new programme is ready for first teaching from September 2025.
Engaging employers and stakeholders in design and delivery is a key aspect of the role.
We are willing to consider applicants that feel they have the skillset to meet the requirements of this role that may not be able to commit to four days a week. We welcome applications from individuals that are able to commit to a minimum of one day a week.

Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
