Apprentice Machinist – 14169

Mac Contract Furniture Ltd in Cheshire are recruiting for an Apprentice Machinist. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Furniture Occupation qualification which will take approximately 24 months to complete.

Duties:

? Measuring and marking out

? Use of various machinery, tools and equipment to manufacture various products or components

? Manufacture of components

? Cutting timber using machinery

? Sanding down and quality checking

? Working towards Health & Safety Regulations.

? Keeping the work areas clean and tidy.

Requirements:

? Good practical ability

? Keen and willing to learn

? Use own initiative whilst working in a small team

? Reliable

? Punctual

Grades:

Grade 4 – 9 in maths & English.

Hours:

Mon – Fri – 7:00am – 16:15pm / 1 hours lunch / 40 Hours a week
