Apprentice Commis Chef – 14048

The Fleece Inn in West Yorkshire are recruiting for an Apprentice Commis Chef. The successful candidate will work towards their Lvel 2 Catering and Hospitality which will take approximately 16 months to complete.

Duties:

? Prepare food from fresh

? Following recipes and menu specifications

? Shadowing head chefs

? Baking desserts from fresh

? Bulk work, making pies and lasagnes

? Making sauces, soups and salad dressing

? Cooking meals and plating up

? General housekeeping of the kitchen

Requirements:

? Clean and hygienic

? Presentable

? Punctual and reliable

? Able to work under pressure

? Friendly and approachable

? Team working

? Able to take instructions

? Must have reliable transport due to no public transport links

? Desirable if you have Food Safety and Allergen awareness

Grades:

No formal qualifications required.

Hours:

5 days a week / 35 hours a week / Earliest start is 7:30am – Latest is 21:30pm / 20 minutes every 6 hours (paid break)
