This program offers recent graduates an opportunity to acquire practical experience in the Shipping industry. Joining MOL as a Graduate Trainee means becoming a valuable member of a dynamic team, engaging in meaningful projects, and supporting our mission to propel the Shipping industry forward. 

The programme consists of a 3-year placement, across a three-year period you will work across several business areas. You will have the chance to learn from industry experts, develop your skills, and grow professionally in a supportive environment. As a Graduate Trainee at MOL, you will be exposed to various aspects of the Shipping industry, from logistics to operations, giving you a well-rounded understanding of the field. Your contributions will be valued, and your growth will be nurtured as you embark on this exciting journey towards a successful career in Shipping.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Carry out tasks in assigned business areas as directed by the Company.
  • Collaborate with Department Heads and your Line Manager to acquire relevant work experience.
  • Participate in internal and customized training courses offered.
  • Attend and fully engage in external training sessions organized by the Company.
  • Apply gained work experience and knowledge to your responsibilities in each business area.
  • Understand and effectively utilize relevant systems specific to your role.
  • Demonstrate adaptability by working across multiple areas and gaining exposure to different parts of the organization.
  • Commit to the program and strive to acquire experience and learning in all areas.
  • Travel to various locations to support further exposure and development.
  • During the program, you will have the opportunity to explore different business areas, such as:
    • MOLEA LNG/Offshore Division: Involves the commercial aspects of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) sector and related Offshore activities.
    • MOLEA Drybulk Division: Focuses on the bulk transportation of dry goods (e.g., iron ore, grains, coal) worldwide.
    • MOLLNGE Ship management technical division: Works with the LNG sector of MOLEA.

Personal Specification:

  • Recent graduate holding a Bachelors or Masters degree in shipping, engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field.
  • Possesses a strong academic background.
  • Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exhibits effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Shows proficiency in working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
