Job Description

We are working with a main contractor with a turnover of circa £200m and a strong presence across sectors operating from offices globally who are looking for a graduate building services engineer to jon their northern home counties business unit operating from an office in Cambridge.

The Graduate Building Services Engineer will work alongside various members of the building services team across notable commercial and life science projects to gain exposure to and develop the skills necessary tosuccessfully deliver MEP packages at all stages of the project life cycle from a technical and management perspective.You will be enrolled onto our graduate programme which is a two year structured training scheme. The programme is designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through a blend of classroom based learning and on the job training. Our programme offers a balance of training and on the job learning to support your transition to becoming an accomplished professional. Graduates will take responsibility and accountability for their careers, while we offer guidance and support to help you reach your goals. We will support your route to chartership and give you the opportunity to develop different skill sets outside of your specialism. What you`ll need A 2:2 or higherin Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering A genuine interest in the construction industry.

This is an opportunity to join a very well respected main contractor initially working on a life science scheme on the outskirts of Cambridge, you will be given constant training and mentorship, with a clear and achievable progression plan outlined from the very beginning of your tenure.
