We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice who is interested in working in Financial Services and wishes to pursue a career in Structured Credit within Asset Management. The Structured Credit team is part of the Private Markets business of M&G and manages structured credit portfolios for third party institutional clients.

This role helps fund managers to perform against their benchmarks and therefore the apprentice role will be supporting to assist fund managers to manage, report and monitor their funds and investments by undertaking the reporting and administrative responsibilities of structured credit funds. ?

Key Responsibilities for this role:?

  • Ensure that actions are in the best interests of customers and that they are treated fairly.

  • Ensure that proper standards of market conduct are observed.

  • Act with integrity and with due care, skill and diligence.

  • Responsible for producing monthly reports for structured credit funds

  • Responsible for communicating any hurdles clearly to other investment professionals.

  • Responsible for constant improvement of ‘house’ process and using the approved IT tools (Microsoft environment).

  • Responsible for delivering report in line with the agreed schedule.

  • Responsible for administrative tasks that support the efficient day to day running of the team.

  • Responsible for ensuring data quality of ABS instruments, developing an understanding of the key features and requirements
