About the internship

Spend your Summer in the City at Mazars with a three-week, paid internship in one of our service lines. Upon successful completion of this internship, you may have the opportunity to fast track to a graduate role in the same department.?

About the team

The Advisory & Consulting service line is a rapidly growing, award winning, global group of successful teams working together to provide the highest quality of work for our clients.???

If you are successful in securing a role on our training programme you will join a team of 600+ innovative specialists across a variety of sectors including Financial Services and Public Services with consultative expertise in Risk & Management Consulting, Actuarial and all aspects of the Tech & Digital space. Our Advisory teams are at the forefront of large international infrastructure projects, global M&A transactions, high-profile forensic investigations, business valuations, corporate restructuring and creditor advisory services; all with the aim of adding value to clients by finding solutions to a range of strategic, financial and operational issues as one collaborative team.??

An introduction to our Mergers & Acquisitions team

The M&A team is a close-knit and collaborative team of over 35 professionals across 5 offices in the UK, dedicated to orchestrating successful transactions, specialising in mid-market deals, and providing expert guidance to private company shareholders throughout the transaction process. We advise large corporates, privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors on acquiring and selling businesses, raising funds and strategic options considerations across a range of sectors and deal sizes.

As a summer intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and play a pivotal role in assessing opportunities, structuring deals and optimising outcomes for our clients. Key responsibilities are listed below, which can span across working on pitches, sell-side, buy-side, debt, or strategic options advisory:

• Financial analysis and modelling
• Company valuation
• Writing marketing materials, such as Information Memoranda
• Buyer research and engagement
• Debt financing analysis
• Business development

The work we do are dynamic, constantly evolving and intellectually stimulating. It requires meticulous attention to detail and strategic thinking to ensure we deliver exceptional and tailored solutions to clients. • We do not provide sponsorship for our Summer internships. However, you can apply if you are studying at a UK based university and hold a valid Student Visa for the duration of the internship.
