Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a recent Psychology graduate eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in Secondary education?

Role Overview:

In this role, you will work closely with experienced teachers to create inclusive learning environments tailored to the diverse needs of students within an inclusive Secondary School in NG5, Nottingham. Responsibilities include providing individualised support to children with SEN, assisting with lesson planning and delivery, and collaborating with the School SENCO and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
  • Patient and emphatic personality and ability to collaborate with teachers and parents/carers.
  • Previous experience in educational or SEN settings is advantageous.
