The role is for a Junior Murex Developer to join the ForexClear Development team. Forexclear is an FX clearing service running on a Murex 3.1 platform operating on 24 x 5.5 model. The role will help drive developments and implementations for the upcoming projects within an agile framework. Individual must be disciplined in adhering to the company standards in development, testing and change management. Role will mainly work within an Agile framework and will be a scrum member. They will liaise and coordinate with business users and other technology areas. Key Responsibilities Development, testing and implementation on Murex 3.1 running on Oracle DB. Analysis, design and development of tasks given. Communicate effectively within their scrum team and business leads. Documentation of solution designs, architecture diagrams and support documentation Timely delivery of developments to a high standard and quality Supporting and utilising company standards for development. Effectively follow the development life cycle Support out of hours hot fixes and weekend releases Candidate Profile / Key Skills Murex experience on Murex 3.x (1+ years) on Datamart and MxML Knowledge of technologies i.e. Oracle/SQL, Stored Procedures, Unix, ControlM, Jenkins Java programming would be advantageous or at minimum some scripting language Experience of Agile development methodology Pragmatic and delivery focused, can do” attitude Takes ownership for delivery and is a self-starter Some understanding of technology, development, standards and practises including version control.
