What you will do in your working day

Business Admin 

  • Create and track signing of terms of business by new clients, through the document tracking system
  • Create and track other relevant service agreements
  • Create the agreed file management folder structure in the file management system, populating with the information created through the sales process
  • Set up relevant codes and activities in the time tracking system
  • Manage the smooth operation of the office
  • Liaise with the building management when issues arise within the office
  • Support with the identification of 3rd party suppliers for services required by the business

IT Support

  • Provide IT support (hardware, operating system and business applications) to all employees across all offices
  • Set up new laptops and phones as required and maintain the asset register
  • Note: There is no software development in this role

The training you will be getting

  • The successful candidate will be enrolled in a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship with BPP
  • They will spend 20% of their working time completing training. BPP offer much of the course remotely so there will be regular participation in on-line training sessions
  • BPP also provide one-to-one mentoring
  • LighterHR has other employees completing apprenticeship training and we are well versed in ensuring that employees get the support from us that they need in order to excel in their studies

  • This role will give the applicant an opportunity to develop their career into business management
  • It’s likely that the successful candidate will find particular elements of the role more interesting and may want to specialise
  • We are a small organisation and this gives people the opportunity to gain insight into all areas of business management which in turn allows them explore particular areas of passion
