Job Description

Leading US firm based in central London is hiring a brand-new Graduate Recruitment & Development Advisor to join the growing team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an established Advisor or an experienced Assistant stepping up to ensure the smooth running of the firm’s recruitment outreach, assessment process, SQE training, onboarding and marketing initiatives.

To £50,000

Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days remotely

Key responsibilities for the Graduate Recruitment & Development Advisor:

Assisting the Graduate Recruitment Manager in devising and executing a comprehensive attraction strategy to build and develop the Firm’s reputation and brand amongst perspective students

Planning recruitment networking events, presentations, and skills sessions (both in person and virtual)

Representing the firm at recruitment events and engage with potential candidates where necessary, including university law fairs, presentations, and skills sessions

Coordinating with the Graduate Recruitment Assistant to organise and run insight days

Assisting with the recruitment selection process, including screening applications, reviewing video interviews, arranging face to face interviews, and collating and providing feedback

Extending offers to successful candidates, including supporting the Graduate Recruitment Assistant with all offer paperwork

Leading on the organisation of our two annual vacation schemes

Supporting the Early Careers Manager with the organising and running of various D&I initiatives to help the firm attract a diverse cohort of trainees

Conducting regular 1:1 meetings with trainee associates to discuss their development

Taking ownership in running our award-winning Black Heritage Mentoring Scheme, in partnership with Aspiring Solicitors

Supporting the Early Careers Manager with the ongoing development of the SQE and Solicitor Apprentices

Key requirements for the Graduate Recruitment & Development Advisor:

Previous experience working within a Graduate Recruitment & Development team within a professional services environment, preferably within a law film

Excellent organisation, communication, and attention to detail skills
