What is Audit?

Audit is the largest of our UK practices and our teams provide independent insight, challenge, and high-quality audit expertise to organisations of all shapes and sizes. Put simply, our work in audit is about examining organisations and ensuring their published accounts provide a true and fair view of their financial position. Through this work, were also committed to helping to build sustainable organisations from an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) perspective. The work we do helps to build trust in the economy and supports companies as they grow, making a meaningful difference to the businesses and communities we serve.

KPMG Technology Audit Graduate Programme

The role of technology in audit is becoming more significant, as organisations continue to embrace bots, Cloud, Blockchain and other platforms. Our Technology Audit teams provide assurance services across a broad spectrum of companies, on the technology related risks within their businesses.

On this programme, youll work alongside Financial Audit colleagues, supporting the audit in the evaluation of IT systems that underpin an organisations key financial processes. Youll gain exposure to a range of businesses, as well as to the breadth of technology used by these organisations.

Youll complete the Certificate in Accounting Finance and Business (CFAB) in your first year. Alongside this, well support you to develop your technology, process, and data audit skills all of which will empower you to build an exciting and varied long-term career with us in Technology Audit. We also offer the chance to gain experience in different areas of our Audit practice, through a rotation opportunity.

You dont necessarily need to be a technical guru our current graduates have degrees in a variety of subjects. Those who are curious, resilient and agile will thrive with us. Youll have the motivation to get involved in a variety of projects and have excellent attention to detail. Most importantly, youll have an appetite to learn about technology and the role of technology in audit.

In this role, youll work flexibly across your location region at engagement sites, our offices and home. Some travel is likely for audit work and because the work is seasonal, you can expect a greater workload at the busiest times of the year.

Entry Requirements:

• GCSE Maths Grade 5 or B*
• GCSE English Language Grade 5 or B*
• 120 UCAS points* from your top 3 A Level grades, excluding General Studies
• 2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline.
