**Deputy Engineering Superintendent Required**

We at KML are seeking a professional and self-motivated Junior Engineering Superintendent Required for a permanent hybrid shoreside position from our Falmouth Offices.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in marine engineering and a passion for overseeing vessel operations. As a Junior Engineering Technical Superintendent, you will work closely with the Senior Engineering Technical Superintendent to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet of vessels.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the planning, coordination, equipment supply and supervision of marine activities, while also supporting the development & coaching of the vessel engineers ensuring adherence to safety regulations, industry standards and a high quality of work.

Minimum requirements

Marine Engineering CoC plus relevant sea time.

·

Certifications: STCW, BOSIAT and a ENG1

·

Knowledge of Regulatory Standards: Understanding of international maritime regulations and industry standards.

·

Five years of experience in marine engineering, shipyard operations, or a related field.

·

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of marine engineering principles, ship systems, and equipment.

Experience with both large and smaller work boat vessel types is essential.
