To provide reactive maintenance cover to production with the ultimate aim of reducing down-time. To carry out planned maintenance and assist with new installations to deliver continuous improvements across the site.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager / Engineering Supervisor

Toprovide reactive maintenance cover to production, using analytical fault-findingskills across electrical and mechanical disciplines to reduce production downtime.

Tocarry out effective Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed, making gooduse of time outside of production hours.

Tocarry out maintenance and rectification works following audits, inspections,and production reports.

Workingto make continual improvements to plant and equipment to reduce repeat commonpoint failures and improve site efficiencies.

Keepingworkshops, plant rooms and engineering storage areas clean and tidy to astandard that exceeds the requirements of internal and external audits.

Keepingworkshop tools and equipment serviceable, clean, and ready for use to meet therequirements for tool control.

Tokeep up to date records of work completed on paper based and computer systems.

Allaccountabilities support the engineering function which in turn reducesproduction down time and allows the department to meet its goals andobjectives.

Responsiblefor booking out spares used from engineering stores using barcode scanners.

Responsiblefor highlighting any additional spare parts required to carry out tasks. Spares usage is monitored against each teammember by way of monthly KPIs.

Reportany risks or any evidence of unsafe or out of specification product, equipment,packaging, or raw materials, to a designated manager to enable the resolutionof issues requiring immediate action.
