We are looking for?

Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or working towards it.

At least 2 years’ experience working as a administration or paraplanning role within in a financial planning environment.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic diary management.

Good technical knowledge of financial services products and financial planning tools.

Attention to detail and a passion for process, organisation and all things administration.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A willingness to learn and try new things.

Someone who can manage a reasonable workload and manage their time.

A career focused aspiring Financial Planner passionate about financial planning and the good it can do.

Excited by the idea of being part of a small, friendly team where you will see every part of the business.

Interested in the human side of the job; we deal with the hopes, dreams and fears of real people, not just numbers.

What you’ll be doing…

Working closely with an assigned financial planner to prepare and maintain client files, recommendations and financial plans.

Carrying out technical calculations and research to support your financial planner.

Preparing clear, accurate and compliant financial plans and suitability reports as per the advice process.

Implementing the recommendations and actions agreed with the clients.

Preparing and coordinating review documentation for the clients.

Communicating with clients and providers by telephone, email and in-person.

Observing client meetings, preparing notes and helping deliver the advice service to clients.

Doing whatever else comes along; we’re a small firm and we all need to muck in.
