Job Description

Working within a Financial Service/ Insurance business, my client is looking to recruit a Graduate Finance Analyst to join the team. This is a challenging opportunity which also provide study support to complete your ACCA qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

Management accounts process – working with the finance team to deliver a suite of monthly management accounts

Journal posting

Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Intercompany Reconciliations and parent group reporting

Financial Statement reporting and trading analysis

Invoice posting, payments and banking responsibilities

VAT, Corporation Tax, Dividend and Loan transactions

Process documentation and improvement

Insurance cash management

Working with the technical services team to ensure that insurance premiums are paid and reconciled on a timely basis

Bordereaux production and transactional reporting

Sales Ledger system reconciliations

Regular operational and financial reporting

Regulatory Reporting and Audit

Reporting to relevant financial regulators

Audit process support

Statutory Accounts production

Ad hoc business support and financial analysis

Requirements:

Degree educated (minimum 2:1) in Mathematics, Science or Business related subjects.
