About the role

Quantity Surveyors at JN Bentley take responsibility for the commercial aspect of construction projects from conception to design, construction and completion, delivering projects that are high value and low cost to maximise efficiencies.

You’re a confident individual with motivation and the ability to work under pressure. Being able to handle multiple tasks at once and problem-solve. Being able to have awareness of contractual, environmental, organisational and communication skills.

As Graduate Quantity Surveyor at JN Bentley you will:

  • Manage all costs relating to projects
  • Work closely with sub-contractors, while ensuring that the needs of a project are met
  • Effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders, while minimising costs to maximise the value received
  • Agree and report final accounts on both the financial and contractual status of schemes
  • Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture – through the production of critical designs, health and safety documentation, O&M manuals and commissioning plans

Candidate Specification:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred but not essential.
  • We’ll also accept applications from students with a degree background in: Other Subjects.

We are keen to review applications from individuals that are organised, excellent with numbers and have keen interest for the inner workings of civil engineering and construction projects
