Bournemouth Aviation Services Ltd (BASL) is part of the Jetfly Group. Jetfly is a leader of fractional aircraft ownership in Europe for both business and private aviation. BASL is one of our Aircraft Maintenance Centers based in Bournemouth Airport. Our teams are experienced specialists trained by Pilatus who look after the aircraft to the highest standards.

To reinforce our maintenance department, we are actively seeking for a

Part 145 Junior Safety & Compliance Officer . The Safety & Compliance Officer will report to the Safety & Compliance Manager. The position is based in Bournemouth, UK, but you will work in support of all departments in our PART 145 network (Germany, Switzerland & UK).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Handle Safety & Compliance Management Systems in accordance with EASA & CAA Part 145 regulations.

Monitor the Part 145 audit plan and initiate internal & external audits as required.

On behalf of the maintenance organizations, provide an interface with the Authorities and other Jetfly Group entities for any Safety & Compliance subjects.

Handle staff licenses with the Authorities and coordinate OJT to develop future certifying staff.

In close cooperation with the Maintenance Managers, assess the needs for required qualifications and additional trainings.

Track and record discrepancies and monitor the development and implementation of corrective action plans.

Set up Safety & Compliance performance indicators.

Promote Just Culture and Continuous Improvement in the production environment.

Availability to travel to our different entities.

Profile:

Master 2 in QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment), Engineering or Business Administration

English speaker. French & German are considered as an asset.

Professional experience in aviation (Maintenance, CAMO, DO, PO, OPS) is considered as an asset.

EASA Part 66 AML (B1, B2 or C) are considered as an asset.

Knowledge of COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No 1321/2014 & 376/2014 is required / strongly recommended (but can be trained).

ISO 9000/9100 experience is considered as an asset.

Knowledge about ISO 27001 is considered as an asset.
