In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for thoroughly testing our software applications, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements. Your analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in software testing methodologies will be invaluable as you contribute to the creation of robust and reliable software solutions. As an Apprentice Software Tester, you will receive mentorship and training to enhance your skills, making this position an ideal stepping stone for a successful career in software testing and quality assurance. We have a wide range of clients including Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, Network Rail, local authorities, utilities companies, international development banks, and international humanitarian organisations.

Both permanent and fixed term roles are available. The roles would be well suited to those with a passion for quality assurance in and software development, those looking for a career change or just starting out on their career path.

The apprenticeship

Following completion of probation and successful apprenticeship enrolment, apprenticeships would start in Autumn 2024. Study will be undertaken in the form of day or block release with an apprenticeship training provider combined with supported workplace training, working to achieve a Level 4 Software Tester qualification.
