Junior Business Analyst – Innovative Law Firm

We have a rare Junior Business Analyst role with a technologically Innovative, 500-user Law Firm.

This role will be working in the firms PMO Office as the sole BA, and represents an unparalleled opportunity to deliver end-to-end projects.

In this role you will deliver significant technology projects, including a new CRM system, a new service management tool from RFP, and various automation and process improvement projects.

The Junior IT Business Analyst plays a crucial role in thoroughly understanding requirements and processes, which is key to delivering successful changes. This position involves collaborating closely with the broader IT and IT Projects Team to handle a range of projects from start to finish. The Business Analyst ensures that all requirements are addressed, testing is properly conducted, and the anticipated benefits are clearly identified and achieved.

• Engage with stakeholders to understand projects from a business perspective, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
• Participate in face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid workshops to gather requirements and agree on project objectives.
• Gather, document, and prioritize requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals.
• Define and document business processes, including As-Is analysis and To-Be designs, using process maps and detailed descriptions.
• Identify opportunities and risks, escalating to the Project Manager as needed.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to address any uncertainties and concerns raised by stakeholders.
• Produce business analysis deliverables using appropriate documentation styles and tools in line with organizational standards.
• Contribute to the development of test plans and scripts, and perform test execution as required.

• Business Analyst certification (BCS or equivalent) advantageous
• Project Management and Business Analysis experience
• Proficiency in tools like Visio and SmartSheet
