We are looking for an Event Specialist to join the Wealth Management marketing team in London.

This role will join a team of thirteen across various disciplines including marketing, content, digital and brand. The team is also supported by the corporate events and hospitality team, an external PR specialist, external copywriters, a design agency, and a group digital team.

We are responsible for the planning and co-ordination of all marketing activity both internally and externally for the division in the UK, supporting our Client Advisers to better serve their clients and reach their business goals through regular client communication, events, and business development activities. This role would suit someone is looking to gain some varied administrative experience, whilst supporting the overall marketing and events strategy for the business.

Events

All elements of events support that will include assisting with event organisation from start to finish including, venue scouting to on-site registration through to wash-ups with hosts.

Ownership of smaller events, from start to finish, without direct over-sight.

Working closely with stakeholders to meet pre-defined event objectives and applying ECS to events to ensure best-in-class execution and client experience.

The role will sometimes require working outside of ‘normal’ working hours with events taking place throughout the day including early morning and later into the evening.

Assist with the creation of email templates, event invites and print marketing which will involve working closely with our internal creative services team and external designers.

Compiling and checking data lists for email sends. Use of CRM and responsible for data uploads.

Completing pre-event business case proposals and post event wash-up documents to review ROI on events and conduct data analysis.

Along with other members of the team, completing the compliance approved pre and post event checklist whilst ensuring all supporting documents are received and tracked accordingly.

Maintaining guest lists on either quarterly compliance reporting document or My Compliance Officer depending on the nature of the event. Submitting invoices and maintaining trackers for invoice reconciliation and work closely with our finance team to ensure accuracy of budget. work closely with our wider corporate events team and external suppliers to source new, sustainable and ‘on-brand’ gifts and merchandise. Maintain a stock of gifts at the office for easy distribution.

Confident, articulate, and professional individual who can communicate well within a team structure and our clients at events.

Previous work experience in a busy role where you can demonstrate dealing with various deadlines.

Interest in event organisation and marketing.
