Job DescriptionThe Invenire Group have partnered with an International FinTech business who have recently been ranked among the top 20 places to work in the UK as well as being in the top 15 fastest growing companies in Europe.They are looking to bring on a Junior Finance Business Partner to join the Commercial Finance team and support senior stakeholders with understanding performance and the ability to influence decisions using insights.This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong commercial background to develop their financial analysis and reporting skills in a business well known for nurturing talent.The RoleBusiness PartneringBuilding stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and influencing decision makingInterpreting and communicating finance data to non-financial stakeholders providing insights and guidance Producing timely and accurate financial reports, conducting variance and articulating current business performance to senior stakeholders Deep dive cost centre analysis on key themes and trends summarising findings and making recommendations Planning & Forecasting Supporting budgeting and re-forecasting cyclesBecome an expert on our cost base; being able to find synergies and avenues for cost savingsEnsuring that deviations to budgets are understood and communicated real time to avoid surprisesResponsible for the preparation, review and challenge of business unit OPEX templates/submissionsConsolidation of department submissions to understand and challenge performance at an overall business levelSupport with the operation planning, scenario analysis and board deck preparation OtherLeverage technology and best practice to improve financial reporting and analysis Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practice Supporting adhoc projects and new and ongoing projects Desired SkillsCommercial mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture behind the numbersAbility to thrive in fast paced environment prioritising and producing deliverables I appropriate timescalesExcellent time management and expectation management skillsTrack record of working in similar roles working with cross functional teams preferred Prior experience working in FinTech company advantageous but not essentialAdvanced excel skills and divers modelling experience Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skillsKnowledge of Casual, Looker or Netsuite advantageous but not essentialAbility to partner with Senior non finance stakeholders
