Role Overview

As our Finance Apprentice, you will be working closely with our team of experienced professionals who cannot wait to share their knowledge with you! Over 5 years you will gain a professional accounting qualification, a degree and invaluable on the job training.

Our programme involves rotations across the different finance teams; Transactions & Settlements, Accounting, Business Performance & Analysis (BPA) and Treasury whilst working to complete the MAcc/ACCA qualification at the same time (a degree in accounting and a nationally recognised professional accounting qualification). During the rotations, you will get the chance to be involved in preparing monthly financial results, supporting key processes within the reporting cycle and assisting with maintenance projects at our power stations to name but a few.

We understand that at the start of your career financial pressures can be varied and so we will provide financial support to cover travel to place of education and any study materials, and access to a quiet space to study in our centrally located open plan Edinburgh office.

Your Qualifications

Educational entry requirements for the MAcc/ACCA qualification requires

Scottish Highers at BBBBC

or equivalent relevant experience.
