Monday to Thursday 8.00 am – 4.30 pm. Fri 8.00 am – 3.30 pm

This is a fantastic engineering apprenticeship opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work within a dynamic engineering company based in Long Eaton. As a machinist, you will be setting/programming machinery/equipment, meeting standards of quality/quality procedures and achieving throughout/scheduling requirements

Requirements and prospects Desired skills

Good Numeracy, Literacy & IT skills

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

An interest in engineering!

Maths/Science or engineering A level/T Level/BTEC or equivalent

Desired Qualifications

Minimum of A Levels in Maths/ Physics/ Engineering (or equivalent)

Minimum of 2 x GCSE’s Grade 6 in Maths, English and Science (or equivalent()

Level 2 Engineering qualification advantageous but not essential

Future prospects

On completion of apprenticeship, further education training will be considered

Things to consider

Must be able to travel to Long Eaton site on a daily basis and to the training facility at Pride Park in Derby
