Our Counter Fraud team are looking for Litigation Executive’s to join the team based from our office at Media City, Salford Quays.

This is a great role for a Graduate who is looking to start their career, initially you will be assisting Fee Earners, with a long-term view of running your own caseload.

We hire based on potential so, if you are enthusiastic and want to learn and develop within an exciting and niche area of law, we are able to offer you the training to succeed!

What will you be doing?

  • Undertake direct communication with third parties on the telephone in a professional and effective manner
  • Update information into the case management system as requested
  • Provide first line support for client queries
  • Draft court documents and applications
  • Attend hearing / trials
  • Take client statements and review medical records
  • To comply with all litigation dates, SLAs and DPA/GDPR
  • Ensure that all cases are dealt with in compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards.
  • Ensure effective case management and the production of high-quality work on own files and any other files where assistance or cover is provided
  • Undergo regular supervision with your line manager along with our open communication policy, receiving day-to-day support in handling your varied and busy caseload
  • Manage your time effectively
  • Complete MI in line with client SLA’s
  • Meet the billing targets set by department
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Partnership as requested
  • Assist with the efficient running of the office generally

What do you need?

In this role you will not only be working independently but you will be working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have completed a law degree/GDL/LPC, or have previous file handling experience or worked in the insurance industry. Whilst experience and qualifications are desirable, above all we hire based on potential so, if you are enthusiastic and want to learn and develop within an exciting and niche area of law, we are able to offer you the training to succeed.
