We are working with a secondary school situated in the Battersea area of the London Borough of Wandsworth who are seeking to appoint Graduate Teaching Assistants to work collaboratively with teaching staff in class to improve the outcomes of students. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates with a passion for working with students to gain experience working within a secondary school.

About the school:

A mixed secondary school for 1200 students aged 11-18 years old. The school have been judged to be Outstanding in all areas. Ofsted stated that leaders have developed a highly ambitious curriculum for all pupils.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Supervising and support students who have been identified as requiring additional support in a 1:1, small group or whole class setting.
  • Leading small group interventions and sessions when required.
  • Supporting with behaviour management of students.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
