A new and exciting position has recently become live with a fast growing and well-established organisation in the information security industry.

They are searching for a Junior/Graduate Product Engineer to join their team permanently.

The successful applicant will either be a Graduate or have 1+ years of experience in a software development role. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

This role requires you to travel to the Bristol office two to three times a week. You must live in and have the right to work in the UK.

As a Product Engineer, you will:

* Develop prototypes and conduct user testing. Run experiments, analyse the results, and apply findings to improve designs. Independently create designs and utilise design systems.

* Engage with customers, analyse data, and monitor the competitive landscape to determine what should be built, providing insights into technical and market requirements.

* Communicate the function and purpose of technology to both internal and external stakeholders through documentation, customer meetings, and events.

* Support the marketing and business development teams with strategy and customer profiling.

* Collaborate with the cryptography team to document the development of the hardware API and provide feedback on external stakeholder requirements.

* Offer technical support during onboarding and prototype stages, acting as both a product expert and a user journey expert.

* Build prototypes, models, and simulations driven by internal needs or market demands to advance product development and market positioning, ensuring design decisions enhance user experiences.

* Create and showcase public-facing demos to support industry use cases.

Essential Requirements:

* A degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

* Recent graduate or at least one year of experience in a software development role.

* Proficient in working with new and unfamiliar codebases.

* Skilled in applying mathematical and data analysis techniques to manage and compute data.

* Experience with modern cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

* Familiarity with agile and prototyping methodologies.

* Expertise in engineering modelling for workflows, datasets, and concepts.

* Ability to write clear and comprehensive documentation.

* Capable of providing guidance to senior stakeholders.

* Adept at employing innovative technical solutions to various problems.
