Graduate Finance / Investment Operations role working for boutique finance firm in Central London – circa £30,000 plus good benefits package

The Role

Excellent opportunity for a numerically minded graduate to join the Client Operations team of this investment advisory firm of around 300 employees globally. Working in their London HQ, this is a process driven, middle office role which requires strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, working in a fast-paced professional environment.

Key duties include evaluating and inputting client trade information; liaising with custodians, brokers and other third-party service providers to resolve discrepancies; performing daily cash position and transaction reconciliations; producing monthly and quarterly client performance statements; preparing and reviewing annual client tax reporting; investigating reporting errors; contributing to strategic projects to enhance efficiencies; and ensuring that data is accurate and up to date at all times.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A graduate with strong numerical skills, Maths A’level preferred
  • At least 12 months’ prior office experience within investment/finance operations – work experience / internship or industrial placement
  • A high level of attention to detail and very comfortable working with numbers in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player who is able to communicate effectively with peers and senior team members
  • A high degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency in MS Office in particular Excel

This is a middle-office role with excellent exposure across the client operations team.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship; only candidates who have the permanent right to work in the UK are able to be considered for the role.

Salary circa £30,000 plus good benefits including bonus, regular social events, opportunity for hybrid working after successful completion of probation, as well as further study (IMC)
