An award winning geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy based near Leister are seeking a graduate engineering geologist or geotechnical engineer to join the team on a range of exciting ground investigation projects. You’ll be provided with excellent training from a team of specialist engineers and consultants to apply your knowledge and kickstart your career

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be assisting with site walkovers, carrying out ground investigations and desk studies, taking soil samples, bore-hole logging, preparing phase plans, writing factual and interpretive reports, working on in situ testing and observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.

The position requires no previous industry experience. Candidates must however: have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or a relevant subject (MSc preferable). Geotechnical Engineers should be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills, be willing to work outdoors on hands on projects, hold a full UK driving licence, be commutable to Leeds and the surrounding area and have a full right to work in the UK.
