Purchase Ledger Controller – Accounts Clerk

Bournemouth Town Centre with Parking included – hybrid working

£24,000 – £28,000 per annum plus bonus, healthcare, pension, training, study support if required

Our client is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to work in a busy role within a fast paced professional services firm in central Bournemouth. Reporting to the lovely Financial Controller based in a team of 4. This accounts job offers a mix of home and office working. When working in the offices for a minimum of 2 days per week, you will be surrounded by a modern, vibrant and comfortable layout/style with constant fresh coffee and cool décor plus free parking!

The Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Controller Job in Bournemouth:

  • Setting up of new suppliers, contractors and freelancers
  • Receipt of purchase POs
  • Resolving purchase invoice queries
  • Purchase ledger invoice processing from business suppliers and for credit cards in multi-currencies
  • Generation of weekly purchase payment runs
  • Checking of staff expenses
  • Processing of staff expenses
  • Month end purchase ledger tasks
  • Ad hoc duties within the accounts team

Who should apply:

  • Purchase Ledger Clerk qualified by experience
  • Accounts clerk happy to work in a transactional accounts job
  • An Accounts Assistant/Finance Assistant
  • AAT studier or non studier.
  • Strong Excel and IT skills
  • A team player, flexible, hard working individual who pays great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

In return to the purchase ledger controller:

  • Hybrid working – minimum of 2 days in the office required
  • £24-28k depending on experience PLUS bonus
