Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer – Up to £40,000

Your new company is a leading Engineering Business within the Defence Sector. Winning numerous awards in 2023, they are at the forefront of Engineering Technology and foster a culture of excellence. Based in Manchester, they have a large Design team of circa 19 Designers, & are looking to add more to the business.

Your new role

This role is an excellent position for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to get stuck into some exciting, cutting-edge design work and will include the following day-to-day responsibilities:

? Produce detailed, technical drawings for design solutions with the Engineering Design team

? Check, edit and maintain drawings and other technical documentation

? Prepare technical documents such as specifications, reports, manuals, procedures etc

? Support hardware development and testing

? Compile technical documents and test specifications

? Interpret technical specifications

What you’ll need to succeed

For this role, to succeed, you will have the following experience:

? Degree in Engineering, preferabley Mechanically biased

? Experience using Design Software

? Great personal skills

What you’ll get in return

In return, you will receive an excellent salary between £35,000 – £40,000 p/a and benefits package. Permanent and Fixed Term contracts avalible.
