Exciting opportunity to join this innovative food manufacturing business!The role:As a Graduate Junior Product Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in our dynamic team, contributing to the product development lifecycle. Aligned with our company values, you are expected to evolve into a fully-fledged Product Technologist!Your primary role is to serve as the bridge between the product development kitchen and the production line, ensuring a seamless transition for new products/ingredients from trial and testing stages to full production.Key Responsibilities Assist in the seamless transition of new products from trial to full production and recommend improvements during trial production runs.Participate in buying and trialing new processing equipment.Provide co-ordination for the implementation of new structures and processes.Build relationships with NPD, Production, and other stakeholders.Understand and flag potential problems in production processes.Develop schedules for product launches and coordinate production trials.Conduct ongoing investigations into production processes.Ensure accurate documentation of operating procedures and provide support during initial production.Cost products after trials and be flexible in undertaking role-associated activities.Design, embed and champion Continuous Improvement initiatives beyond New Product Development, ensuring a culture of ongoing enhancement and efficiency throughout the organisation.Ideal Candidate:Thrives in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with teams and stakeholders.Problem Solver, energetic and PioneeringCommunicate effectively with internal teams, demonstrating a considerate and collaborative approachDetail oriented and highly organisedProblem SolverExperience:A food-related degree or equivalent in Product Development or similarKnowledge and experience in food manufacturing desirableExcellent communication skillsIT skills and excellent attention to detailExperience of working independently and collaborativelyOrganisational and project management skillsPositive attitude and enthusiasmIf you wish to apply for this role, please click on the apply button with a copy of your up to date cv in word format.Not right for you?
