Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join their Glasgow-based team. This role offers the opportunity to work within Asset Servicing, managing the timely and accurate processing of all Corporate Events impacting security positions held by clients. What you’ll do:

As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing Corporate Actions and ensuring the smooth running of trading activities. You will be responsible for protecting both the firm and its clients from potential risks associated with these actions. Your role will also involve developing process improvements to further safeguard the firm and its clients. Additionally, you will handle Corporate Action payments and manage any exceptions that arise. Stakeholder management will also be a key part of your role as you liaise with impacted business areas.

  • Manage Corporate Action, reconciliation and monitoring of trading activity during the event
  • Protect the firm and its clients against risks associated with corporate actions, including financial, regulatory, franchise, market or operational risks
  • Develop and implement process improvements to minimise risk to the firm and our clients
  • Complete Corporate Action payments and manage exceptions, including Client Money
  • Manage stakeholders for impacted business areas
