GMLPN are looking for a Business Support Officer to provide administration and coordination across a range of business functions and projects. Join the team in shaping the future of education and employment in Greater Manchester!

The Business SupportOfficer Apprentice at GMLPN plays a pivotal role in supporting our mission toenhance the employment and skills system in Greater Manchester. By providingadministrative, operational, and event coordination support, the apprenticecontributes to the smooth functioning of the network, fosters collaborationamong members, and promotes positive change within the region’s education andemployment landscape.

Main Responsibilities:

1) Provide Administration

  • Coordinatediaries for the GMLPN Team & Board, scheduling meetings, and appointments
  • Recordmeeting notes and action items, ensuring accurate documentation and timelyfollow-up
  • Maintainand order stationery, office equipment, and other materials as required
  • Assistwith ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed by management

2) Membership

  • Trackingmember engagement across business and project functions
  • Respondingto membership questions and enquires

3) Event and Meeting Coordination

  • Supportthe coordination of business and project events including, the setup, on theday and post event activities
  • Supportthe launch and ongoing coordination of the GMLPN member awards launchingAugust 2024

4) Projects

  • Provideadministration support for projects and initiatives as required

5) Accountancy

  • Generateand raise invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
  • Monitor payment schedules, follow up on outstandinginvoices, and support the implementation of standing orders for members.
