Graduate Conference Producer

Conference producers are the brains behind large-scale corporate events; whatever the topic of the event, producers are expected to conduct extensive market research, via primary and secondary routes, build commercial relationships with industry stakeholders, and create content for each event as well.

Please note this is not an events management position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching key markets within the industry to find hot topics for their events – primarily through news articles, industry journals, and social media
  • Interviewing and building relationships with key industry executives (e.g. directors, CEOs, senior members of companies etc.) to further your market knowledge
  • Inviting these executives to speak or attend the event you are working on
  • Liaising with event sponsors
  • Creating content and marketing copy for each event alongside the marketing team
  • Attending the event on the day to network within the industry in Central London

Requirements

  • A 2:1 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant degree subject such as finance, economics, or humanities
  • Other degree subjects will also be considered with relevant commercial experience listed below
  • A willingness to be client-facing 
  • Great research skills
