About Goalhanger

We make some of the most popular podcasts in the world. You might have heard of our ‘The Rest Is…’ series, covering History, Politics, Football, Money, and Entertainment.

Our hosts are some of the biggest names in UK media: Gary Lineker, Rory Stewart, Richard Osman and Steph McGovern to name just a few.

Our passion is intelligent and entertaining conversations, which create a meaningful relationship between the presenters and the listener.

Our shows are evolving from being audio products to all-round media brands, available across platforms and in whatever format our audiences prefers.

Our ambition is to become the leading provider of thoughtful, long-form content in English-speaking markets.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for the most ambitious and talented aspiring producers who want to build a career in podcasting and digital media.

You’ll be joining the team responsible for producing dozens of hours of high-quality content every week, across audio, video and social platforms.

Most of the technical skills you need for the job we can teach, although proficiency in audio or video editing would be useful. We can’t teach passion for the medium – it’s a must-have before you walk through the door.

An ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the adaptability and desire to throw themselves into different parts of the business as needed. On any given week you could find yourself: facilitating a recording in Scotland; editing multiple podcasts; picking up dinner for the crew at one of our live events; researching and inputting the latest listening data from our shows.

You’ll be learning on the job in one of the most exciting companies in British media right now. For those willing to put the work in, the opportunities for progression will come quickly!
