Role Summary

As a Mechanical or Civil Graduate Engineer, you will work across the business delivering and collaborating closely with Project Managers to deliver innovative solutions. You’ll gain hands-on experience in project planning, execution, and monitoring. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your engineering skills in a real-world setting. The Engineer will largely be working in the water & waterwaste industry in and around the London area.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest standard of Health and Safety by supervision, good management practices, inspections, and monitoring.
  • Conduct site inspections and write risk assessments as required.
  • Liaise with procurement for the purchasing of materials, parts, and labour.
  • Assist the Project Manager with the delivery of project work.
  • Obtain the relevant permits to work on behalf of the business as and when required.
  • Prepare risk assessments and method statements as required (RAMS).
  • Prepare handover files and reports for customers, as required.

Person Specification

  • Ability to motivate colleagues.
  • Intermediate level in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Effective communication and diplomacy.

Candidate Requirements

  • Hold a full UK drivers license.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • BEng/ BSc 2:1 or above in a Mechanical or Civil Engineering discipline, or HND equivalent.
