In the UK, we are working with some of most dynamic and digitally engaged energy companies and this exciting role will involve working closely with these operators, partners, suppliers and industry groups to help them drive their digital roadmaps.

FutureOn is a leading provider of digital solutions tailored for the energy industry, specializing in the oil and gas sector. Our flagship product, FieldTwin, enables companies to create and manage digital twins of their oil and gas assets while facilitating better decision-making.

The role

There are three core pillars to the FutureOn Graduate Consultant role:

  • Acting as onsite or remote product Subject Matter Expert to our customers in the Uk and Europe region for both product adoption and integration of the FieldTwin platform
  • Acting as a consistent technology thought leader throughout the customer adoption, onboarding and integration of existing customer datasets and tools.
  • Taking part in the delivery of services in a value-added professional services capacity, consulting, training or workshops.

Duties

  • Reporting to the Lead Consultant manager to deliver pre- and post-sales support services to customers in the region
  • Work with the Sales and Customer Success teams to define solution scopes with respect to services and integration requirements
  • Demonstrate & present FieldTwin products and modules to customers
  • Lead and manage trials and proof of concepts from definition to completion
  • Provide onsite product expertise
  • Contribute to the sales proposal and tender process
  • Work with the Customer Success, Support and Operations teams to seamlessly manage the customer needs throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Maintain relationships with customers and partners and support Customer & Partner Success to drive retention and satisfaction
  • Drive technology adoption with new customers and capture potential requests/opportunities
  • Build relationships within existing and prospective customers and partners
  • Participate in initiatives to evolve and strengthen Professional Services in the UK and wider Europe region
  • Capture and contribute to Services best practise, share customer experience and feedback and lessons learned
  • Act as a consulting resource in the delivery of services – training, expert consulting, and integrations
  • Work with the Product Development team to:

    • Ensure accurate presentation of the product and roadmap to FutureOn customers
    • Provide regional insights into key customer challenges for Product & Integration roadmap planning
    • Work with Customer Success team to capture ideas and feature requests for internal evaluation and review

  • Represent FutureOn within local and international industry groups.
  • Support academic outreach including use of FieldTwin as both a teaching and research & development platform.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral in English and Norwegian

Your qualifications & experience

  • Knowledge of subsea & offshore systems desirable
  • Work experience with offshore oil & gas, and/or new energy operators or equipment & solution providers preferred
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary team
  • Bachelors in Engineering or similar
  • Computer Science elective desirable
