We are recruiting for an Apprentice to be based within the Purchasing Team at Hypertec Ltd. The role of is to assist the Purchasing team to plan and manage all company procurements, ensuring an efficient procurement process and cost savings. Using excellent organisational skills and a strong desire to build relationships internally and externally, the candidate will be responsible for stock management, Supplier management, sales support and monitor and manage SLAs.

The successful candidate will also study the Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship standard over a period of 18 months.

Your Day-to-Day

Manage our backlog of Purchase Orders and ensure payments are being processed efficiently

Provide support to the Sales department with queries around stock

Process orders and manage through to completion

Monitor and manage Service Level Agreements

Monitor Supplier performance

Maintain and update accurate due dates for delivery of products into our warehouses

Liaise with Vendors for special bid pricing and manage internal process

Work closely with Product Managers to ensure availability and stock levels

Oversee inbound movement of goods from suppliers

Organise inbound shipment of goods

Resolution of warehouse dispute notices

Communicate with and support sales team

Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct

Role Requirements

Able to use Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel

Keen to learn

Communication skills, both verbal and written

Willingness to take ownership of issues
