This apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity to learn the art of culinary craftsmanship while working alongside seasoned professionals in a fast-paced, creative environment. Under the guidance of our experienced chefs, you will receive comprehensive training and support to complete a Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship qualification.As an Apprentice Commis Chef, you will:Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.Learn and master fundamental culinary techniques, including knife skills, food safety, and kitchen hygiene practices.Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines at all times.Support the kitchen team in various tasks, such as ingredient preparation, stock rotation, and equipment maintenance.Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on new challenges, showing dedication and enthusiasm for the culinary arts.Completion of Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent GCSE qualifications) is preferred, as these skills are integral to success in the apprenticeship program.
